PHOTOGRAPHY X CAFÉ EXHIBITION

Photographer Eddie Huynh teamed up with Film Coffee HK for his first solo photography exhibition titled PHOTOGRAPHY x CAFE EXHIBITION, hoping to integrate the art of visual presentation into daily life. A moment spent sipping at craft coffee while pleasing the eye with works of art could yield double satisfaction.
This exhibition presents Huynh’s selected photographs from 2014 to the present, portraying a journey of the pain, numbness revolving about war to the awakening and aspiration for liberation from within.
No matter how desperate life is, as long as you stick to your beliefs, you can always see the light and color in the darkness.
THE WARS

It is a lot of pressure, stress, anger, sadness, for living in this modern world, slowly becoming toxic. Eating our lives bit by bit without any sign. I took this photo 1 month right before the covid pandemics, at the time the atmosphere in Hong Kong are very bad, we can not see the future, it is like virus spread out to everyone in this city.
DA SMOKE

In this toxic world we are surround by fear, anger, jealousy, Sadness, they leads to our desired, the smoke represent to our desired, they are everywhere., able going to our body and soul in anyway.

THE PAIN

The pain are created by the desired and becoming the contradiction. The yellow represents to our mind, our conscience and the blue represents to our selfishness, our merciless.
This image is taken in the middle of 2010's , we decided to have a project that with image design and styling. the theme were set in two colours only The yellow and the blue.

Sorrow accumulate slowly after time by time of failures and pain in our lives, how many regrets we have? how many sleepless night? and how many of sorrow we could not face?

THE POKER FACE

After the long time contradiction, the fighting inside of our heart. we are becoming numbness. Trying to escape from the reality and depraved. Stare not to care for everything surround.
This is the project that we were trying to capture by the Ultraviolet. It was a challenge to the model, makeup artist and the photographer. But also it was so excited that we made a satisfied result at the end.
